Serverless architecture – The kit is built using AWS serverless architecture. It uses Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Ses (Simple Email Service), Cognito, SQS, and more.

Best practices – The kit follows best practices defined by AWS for serverless architecture. It is production-ready, highly-scalable, cost-efficient, and scales to zero. Pay only for what you use.

Stripe and Lemon Squeezy integration – Fully integrated Stripe and Lemon Squeezy payment system. It comes with pricing cards. Webhooks are also configured using SQS (Simple Queue Service) and Lambda, which are highly resilient.

Authentication and Authorization – The kit comes with authentication and authorization built-in. It uses AWS Cognito for authentication and authorization. Login with Google (more coming) is also supported and links the user to the same account.

Customizable resources – You can customize your frontend and backend resources. Frontend is split into three apps – landing, auth, and dashboard. The backend is powered by AWS Lambda and API Gateway. You can write the backend code in the language of your choice. Quickly validate your project idea using a lightweight landing page with an integrated payment system.

Environments – The kit comes with two environments – dev and prod. They are separate AWS accounts and are easily manageable. You can quickly grow your team by adding more developers with fine-grained permissions. Learn best practices for managing multiple AWS accounts and environments.

Infrastructure as code – AWS CDK allows us to create high-level infrastructure patterns. Write the infrastructure code in the language of your choice. It is easy to learn and use. Reusable patterns for lambdas, budgets, and more. Check the official documentation for more information.

GitHub CI/CD – CI/CD is configured using GitHub Actions. It is designed to deploy the infrastructure and the code to dev and prod based on the branch. Prod and dev environments are entirely separated.
